It is past time that we ensure broadband is available in every corner of the state, with no parts of any community left behind. We need to invest in broadband buildouts that are part of a strategic plan to ultimately serve all households.

Right now, Communications Union Districts across the state have more than 200 (202) member towns covering the vast majority of the unserved areas of the state (they cover 90% of premises statewide that do not have access to 100/100 Mpbs), and made up of more than 400 (404, currently) volunteer board members. These districts are a valuable resource and must be included in our plans to bring broadband to every corner of the state.

In Vermont, good things have always happened when communities have come together using the passion and creativity of local volunteers!
